Iowa Law states that all children entering into school shall have completed the immunizations that are required for school entry into Preschool - 12th grade. Immunization certificates are kept on file at each building for every student. If an immunization certificate for a student is not complete or is not on file, the parents will receive a Provisional Certificate indicating what is needed for that student immunization certificate to be valid under Iowa Law. The Provisional will have an expiration date not to exceed 60 calendar days. If after the 60 days the students immunization certificate is not complete or on file, the student may not be allowed to attend school.
